Starting June 1st, 2019, Bulgarians and Rumanians fall under the free movement agreement between Switzerland and the EU. This means they have free access to Switzerland; under the condition they have a job with a Swiss working contract or enough financial means to live in Switzerland. Please be reminded that assignments with remaining employment abroad don’t fall under the free movement agreement, see previous Newsletters.
Only Croatians remain having limited access into Switzerland, because they joined the EU Union last.
