From 1 March 2020, Germany will facilitate the immigration of qualified professionals with third country citizenship (outside EU/EFTA), see.

  • Persons with a university degree or qualified vocational training
  • Recognition of foreign qualifications
  • German employment contract
  • 6 months permit to stay for job search
  • Residence permit after only 4 years (before five)
